The year is 2027, and the city of Kyoto is very different now. It’s a place with lots of new technology. Naomi Katagaki lives there. He’s shy and doesn’t like to talk to people. He loves to read books. Ruri Ichigyou also lives in Kyoto. She’s not very friendly and is often rude. But like Naomi, she also loves to read. Even though they like the same things, Naomi is scared to talk to Ruri because she’s so unfriendly.
One day, Naomi goes for a walk. Suddenly, a red light fills the sky for a short time. Then, he sees a bird with three legs and a strange man with a hood. The man is actually Naomi from 10 years in the future. He says that something bad will happen to Ruri soon after she and Naomi start dating. He’s come back to change that.
At first, Naomi doesn’t believe the future Naomi. But then he follows his advice and starts becoming friends with Ruri. He wants to save her. The story follows Naomi and his future self. With help from his future self, Naomi tries to change the future. Will he be able to do it?
